Refund policy

Every OurComic is a personalised comic page, made from your own story. This policy explains when you can cancel, when you get your money back and what we do if something goes wrong.

Script not right? Money back

Within 24 hours of your order, you get a link to your script. In our web app you edit the text, dialogue and characters yourself, as often as you like. This never costs extra.

Until you approve your script, you can cancel your order at any time and get a full refund. Just email us at contact@our-comic.com with your order number.

If we don't hear from you, your script is approved automatically 3 days after we send it.

After you approve your script

Once your script is approved, we make your comic to order: drawn from your story and characters, then printed and framed for you. Because it is a personalised product, the 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases does not apply (Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU and Article VI.53, 3° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law). From this point, you can no longer cancel your order or return your comic for a refund.

You still have 2 changes to the drawing included. After we send you the preview, you can ask us to adjust the drawing twice at no cost. If we don't hear from you, the drawing is approved automatically 5 days after we send the preview.

Damaged or misprinted on arrival

Please check your comic when it arrives. Is the frame or glass damaged, or is there a printing error? Send a photo to contact@our-comic.com within 7 days of delivery. We will send you a new one at no cost.

This does not affect your statutory rights, including the 2-year legal guarantee on products that do not conform to the order.

How refunds are paid

We refund the full amount to your original payment method within 10 working days of your cancellation. Your bank may need a few more days to show it on your account.
