Sanne came with Fanny to the café where we had arranged to meet friends. I already had a crush on Sanne then.

I was sitting on the stairs with Dave next to me, and Greg was sitting at the table next to the stairs with all our other male friends (8 young men in total). Sanne gave everyone a kiss except me and Dave.

Afterwards, I met Sanne alone again at a snooker café. Then I dropped her off at home in my dark grey Audi A4 Avant and there I gave her a rose, and since that day we are together.

Our first Parisian evening. Saturday, September 12, 2026. Stéphane is 54, Delphine is 49. A young adult couple 😉

We took the train from Melun to Paris. We ran like teenagers to catch the metro.

We had a snack (iced latte for Stéphane, lemonade and a white chocolate/raspberry cookie for Delphine) in a café in the 11th arrondissement.

Then, we headed to the 5th arrondissement (Latin Quarter), Rue Saint-Jacques, to the Maison de l'Océan (Palace of the Italian Renaissance) for a Candlelight concert 🕯️🕯️🕯️ (ABBA repertoire). Candlelit atmosphere, with 3 violins (2 European men with glasses and one Asian woman) and an Asian violinist with long, loose hair. Delphine fell asleep for a few minutes, which made Stéphane laugh a lot. They watched the end of the concert hand in hand, Delphine with her head on his shoulder. We were in the fourth row.

They came out, night had fallen. ✨ The streets were lively, the bars and terraces packed. It was mild…

We took the metro back towards Gare de Lyon for the train to Melun. Still hand in hand, and once settled, Delphine again rested her head on Stéphane's shoulder in the train.

Our first evening in Paris was simply magnificent 💗

On May 4, 2013, I was walking with my mother Dré through the center of Haarlem. On a corner, I suddenly saw her: Lincy. That day she was working for a marketing agency, selling subscriptions. With her blonde hair, radiant smile, and a bright red BNN shirt, she enthusiastically approached us. We declined the offer, but I couldn't get her out of my head. Dré gave me a nudge: 'Go back, man, go talk to her. Do it! Otherwise, nothing will ever happen!'

Full of nerves, I walked back. I pretended I was interested in the subscription. When filling out the form, I asked: 'Why do I have to fill in my number?' Lincy explained it was for verification, to which I joked: 'Fine, but then only you can contact me.' She laughed and agreed. That evening I received the liberating text: 'The registration was successful!'

The best coincidence was yet to come: the next day (May 5), I was at Bevrijdingspop in Haarlem. While standing with a friend in a queue for the drink stand, I looked up and Lincy was standing right next to me by pure chance! That was the start of our adventure. We are now 13 years, a lot of love, and a wonderful life together further.

It all started on October 6th with a match on Tinder, then our meeting on October 16th, with cocktails, darts and lots of laughter! I obviously won at darts (Cyrielle). We talked and laughed so much that evening, it was fluid and very natural. We didn't expect it, but the evening ended at 2 AM on a Wednesday.

Many messages followed, the desire to see each other again… billiards, bars, glances, a glass of champagne on the Montparnasse Tower, surprises, flirting, affection, tenderness…

Steph was in the city at the fishmonger and gobbled down a herring with onion. She was wearing her sports leggings with Spongebob socks and was texting Mike. She spontaneously invited Mike to come to the city too and we agreed to meet at Action. She was faster than Mike so she walked on to Praxis. There she saw Mike approaching and was startled, "oh dear, he's handsome," and almost fled into Praxis. She composed herself and still approached Mike.

Chatting pleasantly with an occasional touch, we walked together through the city back to her bike. First, we had an ice cream together (which she later turned out not to like at all) and then we said goodbye and she cycled away again.

Later that day, she texted Mike that she had had a very nice afternoon after letting him dangle for a bit, Mike thinking she unexpectedly wasn't interested in him after all. Afterwards, they immediately arranged a "forest walk" for the next day.

On 28/10/2022, Gaetan welcomes Marie to his home for coffee. Together, they get to know each other. Before leaving, in the entrance hall, Marie asks: "May I give you a hug?" From that moment on, it's the beginning of a story with travels to Greece, New York, and Japan. 4 years later, on 28/10/2025, a new chapter is written with the birth of our first child: Noé.

Koen and Jill were introduced to each other by a friend at the climbing gym. A few months later, they saw each other again. Jill thought Koen was a handsome man and made something up to talk to him. A short chat followed. A few days later, Koen asked Jill on a date. That was exciting, as they knew nothing about each other. Not even if they were actually single. Our first date was when I came to the Kralingse Bos with the camper and picked her up in the rain.

After that, we parked the camper somewhere to romantically kiss each other in a parking spot.

Then we were disturbed by a park ranger, who was afraid that something was wrong with us.

Meeting during a dentist appointment (Constance is the dentist) for Gregoire.

Exchanging SMS messages during a ski holiday.

First date in a bar on 04.02.23, late evening at Constance's apartment with the first kiss.

Then very quickly a trip to Copenhagen together.

4 years later, they live in their house and had two babies: Agathe on 06.02.25 and Lison on 06.03.26 !!

Tinder: match. Anne and Michael exchanged a few messages and likes via Instagram over a few months, but everything remained rather reserved. Anne: "He's definitely a player and not serious material for me." Michael: "Wow, what a beautiful sight."

Café Van Gogh: Michael works there as a waiter, Anne goes there for a drink with a friend. He recognizes her from the photos and thinks: "That's her, I'll get her, she's mine." Resolutely, he walks up to her and then stands before her with trembling knees with the opening line: "Don't you have to go to school tomorrow?" That's when she told me about a hitch: she was returning to Switzerland, only to come back permanently two weeks later.

Those two weeks of absence felt like an eternity. I waited for her return with a pounding heart, clinging to the hope that she wouldn't forget me. And the relief was immense: she was there, she remembered me.

Our first date was etched in our memories, feet in the water, in a beachfront restaurant where time stood still. That moment was simply incredible. From that instant, an obsession took over me; I wanted to see her every day. For two months, my daily life revolved around hers. Every evening, after her work, I would pick her up. We would go for walks, have a drink, or just remake the world. Even before our bodies touched, we became best friends, weaving an invisible and indestructible bond. Then, naturally, our souls intertwined, and the rest of the world ceased to matter.

Today, I am the happiest man. If fate brought me back to that bar, I would repeat this journey a thousand times without hesitation. We built our home and renovated our first apartment together, now enlivened by Luna and Naya, our two black potatoes (cats), Luna, recognizable among a thousand by her short tail. For her 30th birthday, I want to redraw the first chapter of our eternity.

Dancing together at a dance night, kissing in Bergen and getting several ice creams in Schagen.. for me it was love at first sight, but it took you a while.. now we can't be without each other, now 3 children later and 12.5 years married. I love you.

Brice and I were friends for a year. And then everything changed... We felt more than just friendship. We are soulmates, everyone saw it in us. We were both in relationships, but it became clear: we are made for each other. After a year apart, me in Paris and Brice in the south, I joined him and we now live together.

We were surprised to meet again. I was serving her while I was working at the bar; she was also working, taking photos of the evening. We had our first drink on July 23, 2025, and on August 7 of the same year, we left for Greece. And over the course of a year, we discovered Marrakech, Paris, Ibiza, Malta, the Champions League together, and we love each other more than ever!

We met during an athletics competition in Flers in Normandy. Noémie added me on social media and we started chatting.
